As is tradition at Beachhead, we have a theme (although this is not compulsory) and this

year it is… Against All Odds! 

We will be looking for armies who went into battle outnumbered or out gunned who, win or

lose, fought against all odds. This could be based off a small engagement such as the

Belgium defense of the K-W line in May 1940, or something much larger like the massed

forces of the Wehrmacht at Kursk in the summer of 1943. 

As usual your armies do not have to follow this theme, but they will not be entered for the

‘Best Themed’ award. For those who are following the theme, please let us know when you

submit your list and, if you have any write ups or sources that complement your army

choices, please do send them in as we are always interested in reading the history behind

the armies that turn up on the tabletop.
